Your Role

The Customer Operations Representative role is integral to our continued success and mission to remove the complexity from logistics. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Ensure all shipments are added to the system via integrations or manually
  • Ensure all information is accurate in each shipment including, but not limited to pick up dates, location notes, equipment needed, item details, specialized requirements, service expectations
  • Identify any errors and properly escalate errors that cannot be fixed
  • Enter and Manage Exceptions in Turvo (TMS) for any deviations in a shipment, including closing out when then no longer relevant in a timely manner.
  • Execute marketplace strategy for each customer, as well as set proper Max Pay In line with market/ lane history.
  • Work with the carrier team to support customer shipments. Ensure the shipments are prioritized using correct hashtags, flexibility, transit times, and best available appointments
  • Ensure proper coverage is prioritized to meet customer Requested pickup/delivery dates.
  • Provide proactive communication internally and externally; address any customer day to day questions quickly and professionally
  • Develop and grow a business relationship with day-to-day contacts within customer and locations
  • Monitor ups/downs of contract and spot business, work with Sales rep on opportunities within the customer, including addressing difficulties.
  • Ensure all shipment have accurate rates and are invoiced correctly in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and how to use it to support the business personally managed
  • Ensure backup support during business fluctuations or when you will be out of office, making sure SOP is fully updated and accounts can be properly supported.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2- 4+ years of Logistics Experience
  • Customer Service/Support background
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Projects
  • Adaptable Team Player
