Working with a customer to understand every pain point, PARS develops a metrics-driven solution that can combine any or all of its services — vehicle driveaway, auto carrier service, storage management, license and titling, reconditioning & make-ready, detailing, body work, mechanical repair, and general maintenance services.
 

Your Role

The Trucking Coordinator is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation orders and all supporting business operations. Key activities include customer order management and execution; clear and accurate communication with internal and external resources; maintaining accurate data in each order tracked in CRM; and creating and maintaining relationships with vendors. This position must function during core business hours and allows for telecommuting in accordance with PARS guidelines.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Negotiate vendor fees using additional resources to track current market values.
  • Obtain and provide vendor invoices for accounting, scanning and updating notes in orders.
  • Obtain transporter bills of lading, scanning and updating notes in orders.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State and Local laws.
  • Ensure all vendors meet safety and insurance requirements.
  • Update CRM Activities and Notes promptly and maintain accurate data after each telephone call and email communique. 
  • Create drop ship and release requests in Storage partner systems to maintain accurate vehicle inventory.
  • Create tasks and follow through to maintain accurate time sensitive notes.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure orders have the most accurate up to date information.
  • Form strong relationships with vendors of various expertise (tow, DOT, overseas, repo, etc.).
  • Perform regular administrative tasks in support of the team.
  • Assist with business projects and reporting.
  • Actively identify and engage in process improvements.

Additional Requirements
 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years transportation experience in an office environment using computers to carry out administrative duties or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing the movement of vehicles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while multi-tasking, being detail-oriented, and sensitive to communicating accurate information (both verbal and written).
  • Enjoy being part of a cooperative and considerate team.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and CRM skills
